To me, it doesn't matter what business you are in or where you run it from, certain things are just plain business requirements for your business.
Now I've heard people tell me that €my business is different€ and that I wouldn't understand, but trust me, I do. I have, myself, been in the home based business and the brick and mortar business and I still keep coming back to these 3 things that are consistent among all of them.
Just recently, I came across a marketer, Eagan Justice, who was talking about this same scenario. He alluded tot the fact that not only is this something that he has seen in others businesses, but it is the way he has grown his own business as well.
3 Business Requirements
1. Targeted Exposure (traffic) - I don't think anyone would argue with me on this one. From a brick and mortar type business, we all want traffic or people to come to our store or place of business. After all, that's why we opened the doors, wasn't it?
From a home based or internet business, we want as many people coming to our site as possible, so we can show them what we have to offer. Click here for a 7-day bootcamp on how to attract people to your business.
2. A Sales Conversion System (sales) - getting people in the door or onto our site is great, but we want them to come there for a reason.
And that reason is to make sales. The more people we get, the more sales we can make and the quicker we can grow our business.
3. Sustainable Profitable Revenue Growth (money) - Now, I've gotten a little flack for this one, but seriously? How can you run a business without money? You can't!
It's debatable, but I've heard many say this is top on their list of business requirements, simply because they know that they cannot get to step 1 nearly as quickly or at all without money.
What are Your Business Requirements?
Well, I'm hoping that by now you have a good idea of what you need to do. However, do you know how to go about getting it?
Let's be honest, when we first start out, its not always easy to get our business going. In fact, it can be a down right frustrating experience. I know, I was there before. But through reading, learning and listening to those who have done it successfully before me, I was able to get through that newbie phase and start building my business.
So just remember, when creating your Business Requirements, you need traffic, sales, and money. Once you have that, you will have a good base to start moving forward with the next phase of your business.
