Hi, this is Don Riley with America's Toughest Trainers, and this segment is called functional back exercises. Now we're moving away from machines and we're going to do some exercises that will get you stronger more naturally that will make you a lot stronger than a lot of people in the gym because they may not be doing this exercise. And the one I picked for you was wide grip pullup for your back. Now what you want to do is you want to get a good steady bar to do some pullups on and what you're going to need is you know, some practice on doing this but once you do you're going to be stronger than a lot of people because they tend to shy away from exercises like this that are more functional and when you want to do a wide grip pullup you want to make sure you have a good wide grip, thumbs over or under, it doesn't matter. That's definitely a law defying gravity exercise and probably one of the best functional back exercises you can do. So practice, do as many reps as you can and just go to failure.
