With all the different events taking place in our economy- massive job losses, companies going under, home foreclosures skyrocketing, many people are looking to the stimulus as their only hope for a bailout.
Now don't get me wrong, a stimulus is good, but the fact is no matter how big the stimulus or what it promises to do, it is just a temporary solution.
Instead of waiting on the stimulus to change your situation, why not stimulate your faith to change your situation.
What do I mean? To stimulate means to awaken or make active.
During these trying times some of our faiths need to be awakened to the belief that God is still in control.
There is no recession with God.
He has always provided for his people.
Whether it was manna from heaven, water from a rock, or shoes that never wore out, He has always made a way for his people.
You don't have to worry.
You are going to make it! Just remember to keep your eyes on Jesus and not on your situation.
Looking at the problem won't fix it anyhow but looking at Jesus will! No matter what it looks like, God has already made a way of escape for you.
You just have to stimulate your faith.
How do you stimulate your faith? 1.
By hearing the word of God - Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
You have to consistently put yourself in a position to hear the word of God, not only on Sundays.
In your car, at home, write it on your doorpost, anywhere and everywhere.

Confess the Word - daily declare you're breakthrough! God's Word says I am victorious therefore I am victorious.
Don't speak negative words over your future such as, "the economy is going down, we're all going down.
" Not so! The bible says, the mouth of the righteous shall deliver them (Proverbs 12:6).
Your words have a great impact on your future.
3.
Take Action - nothing stimulates your faith like action.
Faith without works is dead.
For example, you are believing God for a job, but you stay home and don't put in any applications, and just wait for one to land on you.
The bible says that is dead faith.
Stimulate your faith today- hear the Word, confess the Word, and take action.
