Welcome back to cooking kasha with Chef Emory on expertvillage.com, part of our poached salmon dinner. And as you can see, the onions are done exactly the way I want them -- just a little brown around the edges. We're going to cook them again, but I've moved them over here because now, we need to heat up the liquid portion of our kasha dinner. So we're going to turn the heat on on high, and to that, we're using vegetable broth because, like I said, we're making a dairy product so we -- dairy dinner for kosher, so we cannot use chicken or beef. So here we have our two cups of vegetable broth. Go into there. And to that then, there's our two cups. And to that, I'm going to add two tablespoons of butter. Makes it dairy. And I'm just going to add half a teaspoon of salt -- of kosher salt. And we're going to simply bring that to the boil. That's a very easy step. So keep clicking, and we'll show you what happens next.
