- 1). Remove excess dirt using a soft-bristled brush. Pre-treat the stain with liquid laundry detergent or heavy-duty bar soap. Soak the stain with water and rub the stain with detergent or soap. Allow the garment to soak in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
- 2). Rinse the uniform in clean water and examine the stain. Continue to treat the stain until the dirt is removed.
- 3). Wash and dry the uniform as recommended by the manufacturer.
- 1). Pour isopropyl rubbing alcohol on the grass stain and wait for it to air-dry. Rinse the stain with cool water and apply liquid laundry detergent to the stain. Rub the detergent into the grass stain. Rinse the stain with cold water; repeat the process until the stain is removed. Wash and dry the garment according to the manufacturer's directions.
- 2). Mix equal amounts of warm water and white vinegar to use on the grass stain. Pour the mixture over the stain and rub into the stain. Soak for 30 minutes and rinse with cool water. Repeat the process if necessary. Wash and dry the uniform according to the garment instructions.
- 3). Remove grass stains from white uniforms with equal parts of bleach and hydrogen peroxide. Add the mixture to 3 parts of cold water. Apply directly to the grass stain and let it soak for 1 hour. Rinse the mixture and wash the uniform as per the instructions.
