In this style, the hair is cut a uniform length all over the head with the hair shortened around the perimeter. After showering, while hair is still damp, apply a small amount of pomade or styling cream from roots to end. Give the head a good shake and allow to dry naturally. This will allow the curl to separate and preserve shine.
