The 4th of July is almost here! Looking forward, in less than six months from now we'll be in the holiday season.
Where will you be as an author when December arrives? Will you be at a new level, breaking sales records? If you can't see yourself at a new level of income and recognition, you've got to change your thinking.
And that's why I entitled this article Think Like an Authorpreneur.

Everyone needs a playbook of some sort that will give them an advantage...
especially book authors.
Why? Because we are constantly trying to sell more books.
If your books are sitting in the garage collecting dust, or you need to try a new approach to selling more books, then it's time to do something different.
It's been said that if you want to see improved results in what you're doing, something has to change.
Now is the time to start thinking like an Authorpreneur.
Authorperneur, being a combination of the words author and entrepreneur is defined as someone who creates, develop, brand and actively promote their book through a variety of platforms, i.
e.
, social media, radio, TV, speaking venues, webinars, etc.
This is the new way book authors should think and operate.
When you look at it, the super successful book authors are selling more than their one book.
They're gradually turning their book into a business and adding Big Ticket Programs to their game plan.
Start Today! Four action items for thinking like an Authorpreneur: 1.
Develop educational products/services to add value to your book.
2.
Present a seminar or put on a workshop that can help others solve a problem or achieve a goal.
3.
Create digital products that can be easily downloaded.
4.
Start partnering with other book authors and experts to provide educational workshops.
When you practice doing all of these things, you go from thinking like an Authorpreneur, to acting like, and being an Authorpreneur...
and that's a good sign you're on your way to the next level.
What's the easiest way to tell the difference between the book authors who operate at the next level as compared to those operating on a mediocre level? It's the money! Start thinking like an Authorpreneur and your income will tell the story.
