My personal favorite: A simple bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios, with raisins and bananas added, cinnamon sprinkled over the top, and low fat or soy milk. Soy milk actually has a surprisingly pleasant taste, and cinnamon is not only delicious but has been shown to aid in weight loss. The potassium in raisins and bananas will help keep your bodies nutrition where it should be and help avoid carrying around excess water weight. - 2
Whole wheat toast and almond butter. Almond butter is one of my favorites, and I've come to learn that kids love it too,, and it goes great with a glass of low fat or soy milk. Grab an apple, or your choice of fruit to go along with it and you'll be out the door! - 3). One of the most healthy breakfast options is oatmeal. You can have a bowl of instant oatmeal ready in no time, just add a little cinnamon, and some berries (blueberries and cranberries are excellent and nutritious).

Nothing more simple than opening up a tub of yogurt. You can have a quick parfait adding your choice of fruits to your yogurt in the morning. Add a handful of walnuts which will go great with your berries and give you a healthy serving of fiber to start out your day! - 5). A whole grain waffle or pancakes is a great way to start out your day (try to avoid smothering them in syrup as much as possible). Instead top with almond or peanut butter and a serving of fruit of your choice.

Another healthy option is a breakfast smoothie. Home made smoothies are great because you get to choose what goes into them. Pineapple, kiwi, bananas, oranges, and blueberries are just a few of my favorite ingredients, but you can try this with just about anything. You can follow the link at the bottom of the page to find an easy smoothie recipe. - 7
For a pre-prepared but delicious option you can make a batch of banana bread at the beginning of the week, and just grab a slice each morning. I love to do this since I can incorporate all of my favorite fruits into my banana bread. I'll also include a link for quick healthy banana bread at the bottom of the page.
