Are you worrying of how will you move your garden plants? We know the importance of plants in us; it helps our houses to become more attractive seeing flowering plants in the garden.
Now that you're moving, you want to bring your plants with you.
What to do for two weeks as preparation for the move? You must first know if your truck rental agency is willing to move your plants because some moving company is strict regarding plants fro the reason that they need air and must have a comfortable temperature for them.
One more thing is some states in United States don't allow any kind of plants to enter their state because they have large plantations that grow valuable crops and it's not safe for their crops to have plants from other state knowing that the plants from other state have bugs in it or any disease.
Know first if the state you will move on would accept plant from your state.
Would your truck rental agency provide insurance for your plants? Some would and some won't.
so ask first.
Next step you need to do is you must kill the plants pests.
Check the plant and its soil for bugs and other disease that can eventually kill your plant and of course you don't want to contaminate your new place for bringing your plant with you so better check it seriously.
If you are planning to use an insecticide, better to be very careful using it because it is dangerous for the health of your family and pets also.
The day before your schedule for moving, water your plants normally, not too much.
Remember not to over water it for the reason that it can produce fungus.
Ask the help of the truck rental agents for packing your plants; you need them because some of them have experienced moving plants in different places.
Consider the plants as the last thing you'll move because they need space for them not to get damaged of lack of space and they need air.
If the truck will stop, make sure that you'll park them in shady places especially when it's too hot.
If the plants are the last things to put in the truck, it must be the first to be unpacked because they need light especially when you travel for long hours.
After that long process expect that they will bloom again as to the past if handled with care.
