- Baseball-themed parties make ideal birthday parties for kids who love the sport. You may also want to host a party for friends to get together and watch a big baseball game on television. You have many easy and creative options for great baseball-themed invitations, foods, decorations, games and favors.
- Send invitations that look like baseball tickets. You can personalize the invitations with the details of your party. You can purchase the invitations online, make your own customized photo invitations or find baseball-themed invitations at a party store.
- Serve hot dogs, baked beans, pizza, potato chips, Cracker Jack, peanuts and popcorn. Make a baseball cake or baseball cupcakes. You can decorate a sheet cake to look like a baseball field, a round layer cake to look like a baseball, a molded cake to look like a baseball or glove, or cupcakes to look like individual baseballs.
- Use balloons in team colors if your party's guests are fans of a specific team. If that's not the case, you can use red, white and blue balloons to look like bunting. Hang up baseball posters, T-shirts, bats and helmets. If you have a baseball cake or pinata, make sure you displaye it prominently. You can also use a large chalkboard or dry erase board to write a "roster" of all the guests.
- Keep your guests entertained with fun baseball-themed games. Play darts with a baseball-themed dartboard. Hold a baseball trivia game, or hit a baseball piñata with a bat. If you have a backyard, you can even play a few innings of baseball or T-ball. Set up a craft area to make homemade pennants, baseball cards or posters.
- Send your party guests home with great baseball favors. They can include baseball stickers, trading cards, small boxes of Cracker Jack or peanuts, baseball caps, water bottles or bubble gum.
