- 1). Examine the corner of the drywall. The two edges of the drywall must remain even with the edge of the stud so the bullnose will seat properly. If the corners of the drywall overlap, use a razor knife to trim them back.
- 2). Cut the baseboard adapter, using a pair of tin snips to match the width of the applicable baseboard. The baseboard adapter changes the bullnose into a square bead for baseboard installation.
- 3). Apply drywall spray adhesive to the corner and base adapter. Allow the glue to become tacky and press the adapter in place. Hold the adapter tightly against the wall until it bonds.
- 4). Install any applicable three-way caps in the same fashion as the baseboard adapters. Three-way caps cover the outside corners found on knee walls, planter shelves and so on.
- 5). Measure the distance between the baseboard adapters, ceilings and any three-way caps, using a tape measure. Transfer these measurements to the bullnose and cut it to length. The bullnose pieces will span the distance between the adapters or ceilings to connect them with each other.
- 6). Spray the inside of the bullnose and the drywall corner with the spray adhesive, and allow the glue to become tacky. Align the bullnose and press it firmly in place.
