Without knowing it or meaning to do it, there are things that you can do that will annoy a guy you are dating or make him just wish that you didn't do those things. If you are dating a guy who's not really the type to openly tell you those things - you might never know and it could cause rifts in your relationship that don't have to be there. That's why it can be good to become aware of those things so that you don't secretly drive him crazy.

Here are a few things that some guy friends of mine have told me secretly drive them crazy that women they have dated have done:

1) Talking about past relationships just a little bit too much.

I think this is kind of obvious, but a lot of women will do this without realizing it. They will mention things like, "Oh, yeah. I saw them in concert with this guy I dated a while back." Or, they might say, "I've been to that restaurant before. John used to take me there." You may not realize it, but those kinds of things can make a guy feel a little bit awkward. It can be good to talk a little bit about past relationships, but a lot of men wish that their girlfriends didn't do it as much as they do.

2) Getting him involved in gossip.

Some guys do like to gossip, but a lot of them do not. So, when you come home and start letting him in on some juicy gossip that you just learned, chances are he is rolling his eyes when you are not looking. You want to be careful not to treat your boyfriend the same way that you would treat one of your female friends and let him in on whatever gossip that you just heard.

3) Doing the "I don't know" response when he asks you where you want to go or what to do.

This is another one of those things that isn't a big deal when you do it once in a while, but when you always answer him with an "I don't know" he is probably wishing that you did know. If you catch yourself doing that - you may want to stop if you can. Sure, he should be able to lead once in a while, but sometimes you have to give him a little bit of a push in the right direction.
