- 1). Set your bread on a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
- 2). Wrap the loaf in foil or a plastic bag.
- 3). Store your bread in a bread bin. The bin should be dry, well ventilated and set away from sunlight. You bread will stay fresh for up to five days using this method.
- 1). Allow your bread to cool completely, then slice the loaf as you wish. This will allow you to defrost the loaf portion by portion at a later date.
- 2). Put your bread into an airtight plastic freezer bag.
- 3). Place your bread into the freezer. The bread should keep for up to three months.
- 4). Thaw the bread as you need, by setting the bread out at room temperature or using a microwave oven. Single slices may be put directly in a toaster.
