Summer is officially unveiled at the 57th Annual Ford Fireworks on Monday, June 22nd at 10 PM in downtown Detroit.
River Days
Of course, Detroit's celebration of all things summer includes more than just one night of pyrotechnics. Detroit also hosts three days of fun and games and music leading up to the fireworks display. The 8th Annual River Days takes place from June 19th to June 21st, 2015. Aside from "Free Friday," a promotion that runs from 11 AM to 5 PM on Friday, June 19th, admission is $3.
Street Performers
The festival features a host of street performers, including a living statue, bucket drummers, illusionists, jugglers, aerialists and more.
Musical Entertainment
Paul Rodgers of Bad Company, Gladys Knight, Bel Biv Devoe -- just to name a few -- are scheduled on the DTE Energy National Stage.

Fireworks
The festival literally ends with a big bang at the 57th annual Ford Fireworks on Monday, June 22nd. The display features over 10,000 pyrotechnics. You can watch the fireworks by staking out a location along the Detroit RiverWalk or head to the Official VIP Rooftop Party.
Official VIP Rooftop Party
The fundraising party takes place on the roof of the Miller Parking Garage, just west of the Renaissance Center.
The "Colors of Love" celebration includes games, entertainment and food by Andiamo's.
New in 2015: River Nights
A preview event is scheduled on Thursday, June 18th from 6 to 10 PM. The event features a performance by The Spinners, Attendees can also sample many of the events available at River Days, including zip line rides, sand sculpting and the carnival.
