The Denmark Greencard Scheme is a 3-year residence permit for those who wish to immigrate to Denmark and work over there.
An applicant receives a Greencard to Denmark only after an evaluation process which is a point-based system.
One needs a minimum of 100 points to acquire a Greencard to Denmark.
An applicant receives points for his/her level of education, language skills, work experience, adaptability and age.
Educational Level : You need to submit your educational diplomas and certificates along with your application.
Your educational level will be assessed by CIRIUS, an organization under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
You need to have at least an equivalent of the Danish Bachelor's degree to receive points for your education.
The number of points given are as follows: Bachelor's degree/Graduated from medium-length education: 30 points.

If the University where you have studied belongs to the "Top 400 Universities" list, you get points as follows: Top 400: 5 points.
Top 200: 10 points.

If your field of study relates to one in which Denmark is currently suffering a shortage of qualified professionals, you get bonus points.
Currently these fields are as follows: Academic work Construction IT and telecommunication Management Educational, social and religious work Sales, purchases and marketing Health, healthcare and personal care Freight forwarding, postal services, storage and engine operation Education and tuition Language Skills: You need to know Danish in order to communicate while working in Denmark.
So four levels of the Danish Proficiency Test are prepared so that people can try starting with Level 1.
In order to start, you must document that you have passed an exam in either Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, English or German at a level corresponding to at least Danish Language Test, Level 1 (Prøve i Dansk 1).
An applicant can be given a maximum of 30 points for language skills.
Work Experience: Denmark welcomes qualified professionals from fields in which the country is experiencing a shortage of.
An applicant gets points depending upon the number of years worked and the relevancy of work.
Points are given as follows: 1-2 years within the past five years as a researcher/in field listed on the Positive List: 10 points.
3-5 years within the past five years as a researcher/in field listed on the Positive List: 15 points.
3-5 years within the past five years, other work: 5 points.
An applicant can be given a maximum of 15 points for work experience.
Adaptability The points of adaptability are given based on how well you adapt to the Danish environment.
An applicant can receive points for either education or work.
Age An applicant can be given points based on one's age.
Points are given as follows: 35-40 years: 10 points.
34 years or younger: 15 points.
An applicant can be given a maximum of 15 points for age.
