- Canada has a wealth of log cabin holiday options.Canada image by Kob from Fotolia.com
Larger than the United States and with a smaller population, Canada boasts a rich, diverse landscape of mountains, beaches and lakes with a wealth of wildlife and and natural beauty. Whether you holiday in the Canadian Rockies or plan to visit Nova Scotia, log cabin options abound. They range from simple and isolated to more luxurious and located near lodges. - Northern Rockies Vacations resides in northernmost summits of the Rocky Mountains of Canada. The area is remote and offers a wealth of outdoor activities such as fly fishing excursions, safaris to view local wildlife, canoe trips and visits to nearby Nahanni National Park. The company has floatplane entry to the neighboring backcountry. Accommodations consist of small log cabins along the lake or in the main lodge, which looks like an oversized log cabin. For those who crave more solitude, you can stay at an outpost cabin that is more remote and allows you to completely commune with nature. The cabins are heated, come with two beds and an adjoining bathroom.
