- 1). Trace around the bed sheet with a marker to make the basic shape for the wings. Make one V shape on either side and one from the bottom so the top part of the wings is larger than the bottom. Make the width of the wings as long the wearer's arm span.
- 2). Cut out the wings and hem the edges with a needle and thread to stop them fraying. Stitch modelling wire into the hemline to add extra support.
- 3). Use markers to make wing patterns on the wings. Make the patterns as simple or as complex as time will allow.
- 4). Cut some strips of fabric from the bed sheet trimmings and sew them as loops into the top corners of the wings for the wrists to go through.
- 5). Finish the costume with deely boppers for antennae.
