- 1). Disconnect the negative battery cable from the Dodge battery's negative terminal with a 10 mm wrench.
- 2). Remove the lower dash panel on the driver's side with the trim panel removal tool or a flat screwdriver.
- 3). Remove the screw on the lower right corner of the dash panel that surrounds the stereo with a Philips-head screwdriver. Remove the panel with a flat tool (trim panel removal tool or flat screwdriver).
- 4). Grab the bottom edge of the main dash panel and pull it away from the dashboard. The panel will hang from the dashboard by the climate control wiring.
- 5). Remove the four screws surrounding the stereo with a Philips-head screwdriver. Pull the stereo away from the dashboard to access the wiring connected to the back of the radio.
- 6). Disconnect the wiring from the back of the factory stereo. Connect the factory stereo wiring to a wiring harness adapter. Connect the wiring harness adapter leads to the aftermarket stereo.
- 7). Slide the aftermarket stereo into the stereo mounting bracket of the Dodge truck. Replace the four screws at the corners of the stereo mounting bracket.
- 8). Replace the center dash panel that surrounds the stereo by hand. Press the panel into place until the clips snap the panel against the dashboard.
- 9). Screw in the screw at the lower right corner of the dash panel that surrounds the stereo.

Replace the lower dash panel to the dashboard and press it into place. The clips on the back side of the panel we'll be re-engaged by pressing around the perimeter of the panel. - 11
Replace the negative battery cable onto the negative terminal of the battery. Tighten the cable to the terminal with the 10 mm wrench.
