Handheld vacuums are used purely for above-floor cleaning, such as the removal of crumbs from furniture. - Hoover uprights have a price range of $150 to $520, as of the time of publication. Canisters start at $80, with prices increasing to as much as $500 for full-featured models. Stick vacuums range in price from $50 to $200. The price range for hand vacs is $50 to $150.
