Fall fashion for this year is looking pretty hot so far.
There are tons and tons of new fads this year that even I can appreciate mostly because of the burst of originality that has been showing up these few recent years.
Some of the fun ones this year are boot heels, long thigh high boots, the color purple (hurrah!), shimmer and sparkle, feather headbands, colorful tipped French manicures, crazy cosmetic contacts, over sized vintage look shades, paisley and flora/fauna prints for dresses, ultra skinny jeans, and so very many more.
I am impressed to see many new and uniquely creative runway fashions.
Surprisingly, many runway looks are very wearable for the average woman.
Also I have seen a couple of old and dying names in fashion come to life and they are keeping up very well.
One that shocked me was Guess.
I hadn't seen anything Guess in years except nasty jeans in the aisles of thrift shops or stacked on garage sale tables.
But strolling in my local mall a couple of months ago, I went into a store and did not even pay attention to what the name of the store was.
As I was checking out the clothes in there though, I was thinking to myself how great everything looked.
I looked to see what the label on the close was.
Guess.
That really was a delightful surprise to me.
Like I said, I was very impressed with their comeback.
I am especially loving all of the boots I have seen this year, in every category as well.
I have never really been fond of short boots.
But this year the colors, straps, and buckles are all just cute enough to make me look twice.
Accessories are super adorable too! Feather hair accessories are a must have as well as skull caps with or without some shimmer.
Hats, hats, and more hats (no need to elaborate).
Since last year, bright and neon lumberjack prints have been able to fit themselves in causal and even semi-formal attire depending on what article of clothing its printed on.
Just remember to shop on-line even if you have the store nearby.
Your favorite name brand's site will almost always have a wider selection and range of sizes than they do in stock at the store itself.
Sale and clearance items on-line are usually set sooner than at the store as well.
