- 1). Plug the iPod Touch's USB cable into the bottom of the iPod Touch, and plug the other end into your computer's available USB port.
- 2). Select "Store" at the top of the iTunes menu, and select "Authorize Computer" on the pull-down menu. Enter the Apple ID used for purchasing music and applications on your iPod Touch, and enter the password. Click the "Authorize" button, and then click "File" at the top of the iTunes menu.
- 3). Click "Transfer Purchases from iPod" on the pull-down menu, and wait for the iTunes program to import your iPod Touch's music to the music library.
- 4). Click the eject button next to the iPod Touch in the iTunes sidebar, and unplug the cable from the bottom of the iPod Touch. Plug the iPod cable into the bottom of your iPhone to synchronize the iPhone with iTunes.
- 5). Click the "iPhone" tab in the iTunes sidebar, and click the "Music" tab in the main iTunes window. If your music synchronization settings are configured for automatic synchronization, the recently transferred music will transfer to your iPhone as long as there is enough free space on the phone. If your iPhone is set to manual manage, drag and drop the songs from your music library to the "iPhone" tab in the iTunes' sidebar.
- 6). Click the eject button on the "iPhone" tab to safely disable the connection between your phone and your computer. Unplug the iPod cable from the bottom of the iPhone.
