How to Add an MVI to an iPod

    Convert MVI to MP4

    • 1). Download and install Foxreal Video Converter, Pavtube Video Converter or Aunsoft Video Converter. As of the time of publication, each costs approximately $35, but each also offers a free trial version (see Resources).

    • 2). Launch the video converter.

    • 3). Click the “Add Video” button in the upper left corner of the screen and select the MVI file you want to convert to a compatible iPod video format.

    • 4). Click the “Format” drop-down menu and highlight the “iPod” option. Scroll through the iPod menu and select one of the available MP4 formats.

    • 5). Click the “Browse” button to the right of the “Output” field and select a destination folder for the MP4 file, such as “My Videos.”

    • 6). Click the “Start Conversion” button in the bottom right corner of the screen. When the conversion process is complete, the video is saved to your chosen output folder.

    Transfer MP4 to iPod

    • 1). Open iTunes.

    • 2). Click the “File” tab and select the “Add File to Library” option. Navigate through your folders and select the MP4 you created with the video conversion software. The MP4 is added to your iTunes video library automatically.

    • 3). Connect your iPod to your computer using the device’s USB cable. Your iPod appears in the “Devices” pane on the left side of the screen.

    • 4). Select the MP4 from your video library and drag it to your iPod. ITunes sync's the video to your iPod automatically.
