- 1). Download and install a music manager program that syncs your media, if you have not done so already. Remember before you perform a download to previously close all open programs and run an update first.
- 2). Check to make sure you have enough space on your device to sync the music. Then connect your device to your computer and open the software package you will use to sync your music. With the program open you can define your settings and at any time you can go in to change them without losing your music. If you change the music you synced from your library on your device, this change will be reflected in your library the next time you connect your device to the computer.
- 3). Select your device in the selection section and locate the music tab and choose the option to sync music. You can choose to sync all music and playlists or only selected songs. Go to your software and locate the summary tab; here, you can change your settings to sync your device automatically or manually.
- 4). Remove your device from the computer once the syncing of your music is completed and begin enjoying your music. If you have multiple devices, many software packages allow you to sync more than one type of device so you can enjoy your music anywhere.
