- 1). Fold your strip of leather in half around a blank keyring. Use a hot glue gun to glue the strip of leather shut around the keyring.
- 2). Fold the leather strip in half width-wise at the end and make a cut at a 45-degree angle from the open corner of the fold up toward the folded edge. Unfold the leather. The bottom edge of the leather strip should now have two points.
- 3). Use your Scrabble tiles to spell a three-letter word that you would like to have on your keyring.
- 4). Use the hot glue gun to attach the Scrabble tiles to the strip of leather, starting your word near the keyring and working your way down. Keep the tiles evenly spaced as you glue them on.
- 1). Screw the screw eye into one end of the cork.
- 2). Attach the keyring to the screw eye.
- 3). Thread your bead onto the small nail.
- 4). Push the beaded nail into the other end of the cork.
- 1). Preheat the oven to the temperature specified on the shrink plastic package.
- 2). Cover the hand or foot in water-based ink and press it onto the shrink plastic.
- 3). Write the name of the person whose print it is, as well as the date, on the shrink plastic along one of the edges of the print with a colored pencil. The plastic is going to shrink, so write a little large and go over it a couple times to get a nice deep color.
- 4). Cut around the print and writing. For smaller prints you can cut a circle or other shape so when the plastic shrinks the keychain charm is still a decent size. For larger prints you will want to cut closer to the print and writing.
- 5). Punch a hole in the cutout shape where you want the shape to connect to the keyring. Place the shape on a cookie sheet and put it into the preheated oven for the amount of time specified by the package the plastic came in. Watch the shape bake to make sure that you don't pull it out too soon. Pull the shape out when it starts to flatten back out; this is when it is done. Attach a jump ring to the plastic print through the hole that you punched and then attach the jump ring to a blank key ring.
