Combination Lock

• 1). Activate the iPod. The screen lock's combination lock interface appears onscreen.
  
  
• 2). Scroll through the numbers until the first number in the preset combination is displayed, then push the device's center button. The first number locks in place and you begin controlling the second number in the combination.
  
  
• 3). Repeat the process until the entire unlocking combination is input. The iPod unlocks when you press the center button after entering the last digit of the combination.
  
  

Sync With iTunes

• 1). Connect the iPod to the first computer it ever synced with. Even if you sync your iPod with iTunes on several different computers, you'll need to still use the primary computer to unlock the iPod.
  
  
• 2). Open iTunes on the computer. The software syncs with the iPod normally.
  
  
• 3). Disconnect the iPod from the computer. The iPod is unlocked once it's disconnected.
