Do you have a spouse that is living in a different city or state?

Some people have complete trust in their spouse or significant other and would never dream that catching cheating spouses is a full time career for some licensed private investigators. 

But lately, with the internet and 24/7 broadcast news organizations like CNN, it seems like we hear about someone that has a cheating spouse.  Sandra Bullock has been one of the latest women to have a cheating husband publically called out for infidelity.

There has to be a measure of trust in a relationship for it to work out.  You can't and shouldn't have to be worried all the time that your spouse is going to cheat on you.  But, the sad fact is that while you are busy keeping your joined lives together, it is always possible that you may be dealing with a cheating spouse.

There are a variety of methods that are used when catching cheating spouses and these methods keep a lot of licensed private investigators busily employed.  For some reason, it seems to be very hard for some spouses to resist having an affair when they are away from family and friends who could catch you cheating.  After all, you are in a different city or state, so who is going to tell on you?

So, how do you go about catching a cheating spouse when your partner or spouse is located in another city or state.  Unless you want to go where your spouse is staying and confront this person, you have fewer options than if this person was in the same area as you. 

But given the advances in technology that are available for catching cheating spouses, it is very possible to get the proof you need to determine if you are being cheated on. So, what can you do?

When you visit your spouse:

1. Check the history on your spouse's computer.
2. Install tracking software on their computer.  
3. Place a GPS device on their car and see where your partner goes.

On your own:

1. Hire a licensed private investigator to follow your partner's life for a period of time.
2. Check all cell phone bills very carefully.
3. Examine all charge card bills.

There are other high tech options that are available if your partner or spouse comes home to visit. You can do your own observation and make note of any cues that could indicate your partner is lying to you.
