- 1). Tie a jig head to the end of the main line a few inches below the rod tip.
- 2). Pierce the tip of a Double Tail Grub Power bait onto the point of the hook, then thread the lure along the shank of the hook and push the barb out of the soft lure body so the hook is exposed.
- 3). Cast the lure toward pier pilings, embankments, drop off ledges in the water, or straight down from a boat. Allow the jig and grub to sink to the bottom, then reel up any slack in the line.
- 4). Twitch the rod tip to agitate the jig, causing it to rise and fall in the water like a wounded baitfish.
- 5). Retrieve the line at a steady pace, cranking the reel handle about one complete revolution per second, to create maximum fluttering action from the double tails during the retrieval.
