- 1). Place the emulsifying wax, beeswax, jojoba and evening primrose oil in a double boiler. You can make your own double boiler using one large pot, and a small pot that will fit easily into the large one. Fill the large pot with water and place the smaller pot on top with all the ingredients. Place the double boiler over medium-low heat.
- 2). Heat the ingredients until the waxes melt. Continuously stir the ingredients until the oils and wax mix, but do not bring them to a boil.
- 3). Pour the distilled water into the melted oil and wax mixture. Stir the ingredients well and pour them into a glass bowl.
- 4). Add the Germaben II slowly to the melted wax.
- 5). Mix the ingredients thoroughly and stir for five to 10 minutes, until it mixes well into a cream texture. The bronzer will not set and appear thick until it cools completely. You will know the bronzer is set when none of the ingredients separate.
- 6). Add the micas once the bronzer sets. Add less mica than you think you will need because you can add more mica later, however, you cannot take the mica out. A good base mixture consists of 1 tbsp. light gold mica, ½ tsp. cappuccino mica and 1 tsp. copper mica.
- 7). Blend the mixture with a spoon. Mix the mica until it dissolves into the bronzer.
- 8). Store the bronzer in an airtight container.
