- 1). Determine if you fall below the LIHEAP poverty line (see Resources). The guideline uses the number of members in your household and the entire household's combined yearly incomes to determine if applicants are at or below the current poverty level.
- 2). Call Trinicon Outreach at 317-392-3389 and set up an appointment to meet with a counselor. Describe your current living situation and ask what forms you will need to complete.
- 3). Fill out any forms requested. Take the completed forms and all pieces of identification to your appointment.
- 4). Apply through the mail. You can request a mail-in application if you are not in immediate danger of having your energy utilities turned off. Fill out the application completely and return it with all requested information.
