Improve Your Conversions with These Copywriting Tips

If you want your copy to have a high conversion rate, you have to focus on more than just writing. You have to be able to get inside the minds of your target audience so you can explain to them why they need your product. You can start doing this by keeping the following guidelines in mind when you create your copy.

You write a sales copy to convince your target market about your product. Yet you also want to make it clear that the product will deliver on any claims you make too. A good way to do this is by sharing feedback from your already existing customers. Your testimonials will provide the necessary details to insure your new customer of your products success. It is the design of our minds to be reassured when reading something said by a third person. They will also get a first hand view about how your product fairs and works out for everyone else. People are naturally wary about scams on the Internet, so of course they want to be cautious about what they buy online. If you want your testimonial to have a more realistic approach then it one should include the persons website or details. Another great idea is to provide audio and Video testimonials to our new customers. It is also recommended that you not have all your testimonials in a specific part of your write but rather throughout the entire thing.

Bring them in step by step. Also make them show different aspects of the product and not just on one specific point.

Copy should never sound like your showing off your vocabulary. You are writing to convince your prospects that your product/service is what they need. You're not showing off your command of the language, you are using simple language to communicate with them. That's right; you need to write like you talk. If you take all the pressure off, your prospects will sense that comfort level in your writing. You will then see that your prospects see you as a friend and not a salesman. The more closely you can make him/her understand about your product, the better response you will receive. If you create effective copy, it will be just like a person who goes out and vends for you. Sales copy that's written dryly won't be well received by your prospects and they won't want to get what you're selling.

You should also remember to end your sales copy with a p.s. or post script. If this is done the right way only a few simple lines can make all the difference. Research has shown that people who read the headline are highly likely to read the p.s. Besides, most people will stop to read this little message, which keeps them on your page longer. Make your post script a strong call to action and summarize your offer for your prospects.

Before you can get someone to take any action, you have to make them feel secure in doing so. In other words, you have to remove their defenses against buying something by making them feel comfortable. Then making a sale becomes simple.
