Firstly do not think you where unlucky, or you deserve this disorder, as there are thousands of others that go through the same trauma, your not alone and just to confirm, there is a way of controlling it.
Why me, what did I do to deserve chronic anxiety disorder, is this a lingering though in back of you mind? I believe any body is capable of becoming a victim of chronic anxiety disorder, but with in saying that, some people are more susceptible than others.
Exhaustion is number one key trigger in most cases.
- Mental exhaustion
- Physical exhaustion.
- Emotion exhaustion.
- Diet, and substance abuse can also be clarified as physical exhaustion.
By this point it is normally to late.
G A D ( General anxiety disorder) has passed, now chronic anxiety disorder is the new replacement.
For others emotion exhaustion can be the loss of a loved one, or a split with a long term partner.
This usually builds quite quickly and takes full effect over the unfortunate victim.
Usually when chronic anxiety disorder develops from trauma it is because most people do not get an instant attack of anxiety till way after the event.
Most of the time they seem to be dealing quiet well from the crisis, then several weeks later thump.
It generally hits like a sledge hammer, there is no warning.
This normally is the hardest to deal with as it does not creep up like G A D.
Where this is all leading to is this, when you get the smallest onset of panic or anxiety, take it as a warning sign.
Once panic starts it is like a wood pile covered in petrol.
There is help, and very good help out there.
Do not think you are invincible, panic does Not go away with out proper treatment.
