How to Remove Processes in Windows Task Manager

    • 1). Right-click the Windows task bar. The task bar is the horizontal bar that runs across the bottom of the Windows desktop.

    • 2). Click "Start Task Manager" from the menu that appeared on screen after you right-clicked the task bar.

    • 3). Click the "Processes" tab. This is at the top of the "Task Manager" window that is now on screen.

    • 4). Click the name of the process you want to remove. Click "End Process." This button is located in the lower-right corner of the Task Manager window.

    • 5). Click the "End Process" button again in the pop-up window that appeared after your actions in "Step 4."
