- 1). Open a Web browser and go to the WinImage download page (see Resources).
- 2). Double-click the "WinImage.exe" file to launch the WinImage application. No installation is required.
- 3). Insert a boot disk CD into your CD/DVD drive.
- 4). Click the "Disk" option on the WinImage top navigation menu.
- 5). Click "Create CD ROM ISO image" from the context menu.
- 6). Select the CD/DVD drive from the list of source drives.
- 7). Type a file name for the new ISO image into the "File Name" input box.
- 8). Click the "OK" button. The WinImage application will begin copying files from the CD into the ISO archive file. When complete, a notification dialog box will appear.
- 9). Click the "Finish" button. The boot disk ISO file is now created and saved on your hard drive.
