How to Use WinImage to Create a Boot Disk ISO

    • 1). Open a Web browser and go to the WinImage download page (see Resources).

    • 2). Double-click the "WinImage.exe" file to launch the WinImage application. No installation is required.

    • 3). Insert a boot disk CD into your CD/DVD drive.

    • 4). Click the "Disk" option on the WinImage top navigation menu.

    • 5). Click "Create CD ROM ISO image" from the context menu.

    • 6). Select the CD/DVD drive from the list of source drives.

    • 7). Type a file name for the new ISO image into the "File Name" input box.

    • 8). Click the "OK" button. The WinImage application will begin copying files from the CD into the ISO archive file. When complete, a notification dialog box will appear.

    • 9). Click the "Finish" button. The boot disk ISO file is now created and saved on your hard drive.
