How to Get to a BIOS Screen

    • 1). Restart your computer (turn it on if it's off).

    • 2). Quickly press the button used to enter the BIOS when the splash logo appears on screen. The splash logo is the first color screen that appears after the motherboard beeps. The BIOS button is generally displayed on the bottom of the splash logo. You can also find the button listed in the motherboard documentation (see References).

    • 3). Wait for the BIOS to open. If you didn't press the button in time, the computer will boot to the desktop, and you'll have to try again.
