How to Change Your Name in CP

    • 1). Close out of all active programs on your computer.

    • 2). Download the cheat software (see Resources section).

    • 3). Log in to your Club Penguin account and begin playing the game.

    • 4). Click on your penguin to open his profile box on the game screen.

    • 5). In a separate window, open the cheat software you installed.

    • 6). Click the "Process List" button in the cheat software, next to the Open icon in the top left of the window.

    • 7). Scroll down the list of programs until you find a program referencing either Internet Explorer or Club Penguin. Select this program and click the "OK" button to return to the Process List table.

    • 8). Locate the drop-down box labeled Value Type. Select the "Text" option.

    • 9). Type in the current name of your penguin in the Text queue (two rows above the Value Type option), then click the button that says "First Scan."

    • 10

Notice that two fields have popped up in the left side of the Process List window (underneath the Address and Value column headers). Double-click both of the items in this list, one at a time. This should make them reappear at the bottom of the Process List window.

    • 11

Double-click the first item to reappear so that a new window pops up. Replace the current name of your penguin with your preferred new name. Click "OK," then click "Yes" to both prompts that appear.

    • 12

Repeat Step 11 with the second item that reappeared in the bottom of the Process List window.

    • 13

Type in your preferred new name for your penguin in the Text queue (two rows above the Value Type option).

    • 14

Minimize the cheat software window and return your screen to Club Penguin. Exit out of your penguin's profile box.

    • 15

Walk your penguin into another room. Open his profile box again to ensure that the name has been successfully changed before exiting out of the cheat software.
