How to Restore XP to a Previous Version

    • 1). Click the "Start" button then click "All Programs."

    • 2). Click the "Accessories" option in the menu, then click on "System Tools" followed by "System Restore." This will open up a System Restore wizard.

    • 3). Click the most recent restore point in the list that appears on the "Select a Restore Point" window.

    • 4). Click "OK" if you are prompted by a message that lists all the changes that will be made to your system upon restoring.

    • 5). Click the "Next" button on the "Confirm Restore Point Selection" window and allow Windows to complete the System Restore. Your computer will reboot for the changes to take place.

    • 6). Log in to the computer under an administrator account and click the "OK" button to close the message confirming that the System Restore is complete.
