- 1). Click the "Start" button and type "Internet Explorer" into the search box. Click on "Internet Explorer" in the list that appears. Click on "Tools," then click "Internet Options." Check the box next to "Cookies." If you want to retain the cookies for the sites you have saved as favorites, check the box for "Preserve Favorite Website Data." Click "Delete" to erase the cookie files.
- 2). Launch the Safari Web browser. Click on "Preferences." Select the "Security" tab. Click "Show Cookies." To remove a specific cookie file, click on it, then click "Remove." Click "Remove All" to erase all the cookie files from your computer.
- 3). Start the Firefox Web browser. Click on "Preferences," then click on the "Privacy" tab. Click "Show Cookies." To remove individual cookie files, select them and click "Remove Cookies." To erase all of the cookies from your computer, click "Remove All Cookies."
