- 1). Select the "Airbrush" tool from the tool bar. A settings menu will open below the tool bar. Adjust the "Blending" and "Density" levels to between 40 and 50 percent. Fill in the majority of the area with your primary color.
- 2). Click on the color wheel to add a darker color. Paint this color in a single line against the inside of the outline on one side of the image. Use the dark color to add areas of shadow.
- 3). Add a lighter color to the opposite side, and add any areas that need highlights.
- 4). Select the "Blur" tool, and blend with your cursor until you are happy with the shading in the area.
