How to Add Drives to My Windows 7 Media Center

    • 1). Open Windows Media Center.

    • 2). Scroll down to "Tasks" and click "Settings."

    • 3). Click "Media Libraries."

    • 4). Click the type of media files you wish to add, such as music, pictures, videos, recorded TV or movies and click "Next."

    • 5). Click "Add Folders to the Library" and click "Next."

    • 6). Click "On This Computer (Includes Mapped Network Drives)" and click "Next."

    • 7). Check the drive you wish to add and click "Next."

    • 8). Click "Yes, Use These Locations" and click "Finish." Windows Media Center will then index the drive. It could take several minutes before the media files are available in the libraries.
