- 1). Open Windows Media Center.
- 2). Scroll down to "Tasks" and click "Settings."
- 3). Click "Media Libraries."
- 4). Click the type of media files you wish to add, such as music, pictures, videos, recorded TV or movies and click "Next."
- 5). Click "Add Folders to the Library" and click "Next."
- 6). Click "On This Computer (Includes Mapped Network Drives)" and click "Next."
- 7). Check the drive you wish to add and click "Next."
- 8). Click "Yes, Use These Locations" and click "Finish." Windows Media Center will then index the drive. It could take several minutes before the media files are available in the libraries.
