Get the Most Out of Design Themes in Microsoft Office

In most versions of Microsoft Office, you can take advantage of Design Themes to customize visual elements such as backgrounds, layout, color schemes, and more. These are similar to templates, but slightly different.

Difficulty: Easy

Time Required: Less than 5 Minutes

Here's How:
  1. Depending on the program, select Design or Page Layout - Design Themes - Select a theme.
  2. The theme is intended to let you skip setting each aspect of the document's design, but if you do want to customize things such as fonts, colors, and effects, you'll find these on the same menu (Design or Page Layout).

    Tips:
    1. If you didn't see a theme you liked, remember you can also select Design or Page Layout - Design Themes - Browse for Themes
