Christine Comaford"s Bestselling "Rules for Renegades"

While Bill Gates calls her "super-high bandwidth," and Bill Clinton claims that she fostered American Entrepreneurship, Christina Comaford's view of herself is slightly different. The New York Times best selling author of the book 'Rules for Renegades' sees herself as more of a serial opportunist. She says in her author bio that she has lived many different lives, some of which include venture capitalist, serial entrepreneur, technology, CEO and adviser and engineer during Microsoft's early years, and more. She shares that "today I help CEOs in rapid growth and turnaround scenarios to achieve previously unheard of results through seeing into their blind spots, aligning their team and Board, changing challenging behaviors, increasing team accountability and execution. Some call me a Business Strategist, some call me an Executive Coach."

It is Christina's reputation which caused Newsweek to call her "the one you'd want to partner with." She is the CEO of Mighty Ventures and has become very well known for her ability to help business who wish to increase their sales, products, and their company's worth. Christina has built five businesses from scratch all by herself, and then sold them all with a 700% return on her investment. She has also served on the Board of Directors or been an adviser to 36 other start ups. She has also invested her time and money into at least 200 more... Google being one of those 200. Besides serving a consultant to both President Bill Clinton and President George Bush, Christina has consulted for 700 of the Fortune 1000, and over 300 small businesses. She has built her success by treading where others did not share, and realizing the small trends and technologies which had not yet been recognized or accepted by the market.

In her Forbes.com blog, Christina shares her views on change and how resisting it can be both good and bad. She says, "As you've seen in my past blogs on change, not everyone in your organization is going to totally psyched and eager to celebrate change. And the biggest challenge with change is-drum roll please-resistance. But what most leaders miss is that resistance is simply the first stop on the quest for the holy grail: a new standard."

Her ability to not only adapt to change, but to embrace it and build upon it has lead Christina to built not one but many careers. Considered to be one of entrepreneurship's top visionaries and trailblazers, this author and business woman refuses to "go with the flow." A self-named parallel entrepreneur, she is able to build several businesses from the ground up at the same time. Christina is listed as on the top five "Renegade Entrepreneurs" by Success Magazine, as well as one of the "Top 25 Women on the Web." Her success is a beacon of encouragement for all renegade entrepreneurs who may feel like giving up. Christine shows what can happen if you keep pushing forward.
