How to Restore XP Pro to the Previous Day

    Restoring to a Previous Day

    • 1). Go to the “Start” menu and click “All Programs.”

    • 2). Go to “Accessories,” click “System Tools” and select “System Restore.”

    • 3). On the next screen, select “Restore My Computer to an Earlier Time” and click “Next.”

    • 4). Select a restore point from the previous day and click “Next.”

    • 5). Make sure you chose the right restore point and click “Next” again to proceed. After the system restore is completed, your computer will reboot and restore to the previous day.

    Creating a System Restore Point

    • 1). Open the "System Restore" utility.

    • 2). Select “Create a Restore Point” and click “Next.”

    • 3). Type a name for your restore point in the description box and click “Create.”
