How Do I Set a New Restore Point With Vista?

    • 1). Go to the "Start" menu and select "Control Panel."

    • 2). Double-click "System and Maintenance" and then "System."

    • 3). Click the "System Protection" tab in the "System Properties" window.

    • 4). Check the drives you want to set new restore points for and click on the "Create" button next to "You can create a restore point right now for the disks selected above."

    • 5). Type the name for your new restore point and click on "Create" in the new window. Click on "OK" in the pop-up to confirm and close all the windows.
