How to Decorate a Grapevine Wreath for Fall

    • 1). Go to your local craft store and pick out your decorations, also called "picks." You'll need a grapevine wreath in the size of your choice, some ribbon and fall-themed picks that appeal to you and match the exterior of your home like scarecrows, leaves, berries and etc. Try to choose things not easily damaged by outdoor elements, like the sun and rain. Pick up a hot glue gun and glue sticks while you're at the craft store.

    • 2). Lay out all the items you just purchased on a clean, flat surface at home. Take stock of what you have and get a plan in your mind. Plug in your hot glue gun and insert a glue stick into the back of the gun to start heating up.

    • 3). Wrap ribbon around your grapevine wreath. Glue it down in various spots on the back of the wreath to secure it. You can wrap it tightly or loosely, depending on your taste. You may want to make a bow out of the ribbon if you know how.

    • 4). Put your fall decorations on the wreath, but don't glue them down yet. Experiment a bit and get them placed how you want them.

    • 5). Use your hot glue gun to secure the picks to the wreath. You only need to use a small bit of glue for each item; remove any stringy remnants of glue when you're done.
