How to Reset Windows XP Updates

    • 1). Click the "Start" icon located in the bottom left corner of your computer's desktop screen. Scroll to the "Accessories" tab, mouse over "System Tools" and click on the "System Restore" option.

    • 2). Choose the "Restore my computer to an earlier time" option, then click "Next." A calendar will be displayed that will allow you to choose a specific day to restore your computer to.

    • 3). Pick the date you want your computer's settings to be restored to. Click "Next" to confirm the restore date. Your computer will need to restart, and will open under the previous settings.
