- 1). Shampoo and condition hair as usual. Towel dry and comb to remove any tangles.
- 2). Squeeze a dollop of styling mousse into your palms and rub together. Apply the mousse all over hair. Do not use more than a palmful or hair will become too sticky to style.
- 3). Brush back the front strands and roll them toward the back of your head. Use the largest rollers for the front strands to get them nice and big in the pompadour style. Continue rolling the rest of your hair. You can also leave the rest of your hair straight.
- 4). Hold a blow dryer over the rollers to speed up the drying process. Alternately, you can wait for your hair to air dry, which takes a bit longer.
- 5). Remove the rollers carefully once the hair is dry. Tease the top strands at the base of the curl with a fine tooth comb.
- 6). Pin the front end curls back with bobby pins. Shake your head a little bit to detect any loose ends and secure them as well. If you have curled the rest of your hair, use your fingers to shape the curls into tubes. Spritz your head with hair spray to hold the look.
