You may or may not recognize the name Celframe Office, but it has been gaining popularity in the international market for quite a while. The suite is generally compatible with Microsoft Office.

Celframe Write

Celframe Write is a word processor which has desktop publishing tools as well.

Users of Celframe Write can save to these formats: Microsoft Word, HTML or PDF (Adobe's Portable Document Format). Likewise, users can export to HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) or XHTML (Extensible Hyper Text Markup Language).

You will also find advanced features such as digital signatures, file encryption, and more.

Celframe Spreadsheet

Celframe Spreadsheet is a robust program for calculating and organizing data. It also boasts some unique features such as design themes, advanced charting, and more.

The experience is very similar to other popular spreadsheets, and for the average user, just a matter of learning a few new terms. For example, the AutoSum feature in Excel is called the Intelligent Sum function in Celframe Spreadsheet.

You can save a Celframe Spreadsheet document to XML and Adobe PDF formats.

Celframe Power Presentation

Celframe Power Presentation is a slide show program with features you may find interesting.

While presenting, you can use printable presenter cards, which Celframe advises you to use as flash cards. Alternatively, you should be able to present using a bluetooth device.

I like the multi-pane view which summarizes the Drawing, Outline, Slides, Notes, and Handout views.

Add further flair and design to a Celframe Power Presentation using 2D and 3D clip art, drawing tools, diagramming tools, and more.

You can save a Celframe Power Presentation to common presentation formats, as well as Flash (.swf).

Celframe Draw

Celframe Office Draw is a general use program that may be useful with the other programs in the Celframe Office suite, thanks to its diagramming and graphics capabilities.

Create and edit images, such as sketches, diagrams, tables, charts, and more. You can save your files to BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and WMF. Celframe Draw even has some Auto CAD capabilities.

Celframe Data Access

With Celframe Data Access, you can design attractive tables, filter, query, create reports, views in multi-view, similar to programs such as Microsoft Access.

While I have used databases for many projects, I am not as avid a user as some. Lighter users such as myself will be glad Celframe Data Access has program wizards and other helpful tools for getting projects done faster.

Celframe Studio

Celframe Studio is a bitmap graphics editor with layers, much like Adobe Photoshop.

This program has a whole bunch of features, but one major one users will appreciate is an extensive history system to let you go back many steps.

Celframe Mail

Celframe Mail is comparable to Microsoft Outlook. It is an email client that supports other web mail accounts you may already use, such as Google or yahoo. It can also handle RSS.

You can also keep a calendar and task list, but not a contact database.

Celframe Note Maker

Celframe Note Maker is similar to Microsoft OneNote. A tool for capturing notes, searching those notes (including handwritten/inked notes), collaborating with others through email or instant messaging, and syncing or linking notes.

You can save your notes to similar formats such as text, image, web, digital ink, and other formats.

Celframe Publisher

Celframe Publisher is a desktop publishing application for creating more complex or design-rich documents than a word processor.

It will be interesting to see where Celframe goes with this program in future versions. The company admits it is a simplistic solution compared to something like Microsoft Publisher. The typical user should find plenty of utility, however.

Additional Features

The Celframe Office suite boasts strong foreign language capabilities.

Celframe XML Maker, PDF Maker, and Office Backup utilities allow you to work in more formats and to reinforce your files to your system, a server, or a specified email. This integrates with other programs in the Celframe Office suite. You can also find additional tools such as Celframe Templates.
