Hi, I'm Genevieve Strazisar, this is the beautiful Amy and we're going to show you really quickly just how to add a little accent or a kinky curl to a beautiful updo. So we've just got this last piece here, I wasn't initially going to leave a piece in this updo but it was there. It's the right length so I'm going to demonstrate for you how to use a pin iron. A pin iron is basically just an extra small iron. It's pin sized. It's about the size of a pencil in diameter and it gives a nice, tight kinky curl. So if there's ever a time where you need to create a kinky curl, a pin iron is definitely a great investment. So we're going to take the pin iron, she's already got some product in her hair. Maybe a light working spray if you're wanting to know what to use. We're going to smooth out the section and I'm going to go ahead and take the rod of the pin iron and I'm just going to go ahead and smooth that hair. So I'm going to go ahead and face the pin iron down towards the ground and then go ahead and wrap the ends around the barrel. You have to be careful with pin irons. They're notorious for burning. Hold in for a few seconds to let all that hair get heated through and then unravel in the direction that you rolled the curl. And there you have it.
