How to Copy DVD Labels

    • 1). Boot up your computer. Plug your image scanner into an empty USB port on your PC. Your operating system will detect a new piece of hardware. Click on "Have Disk" and insert the CD-ROM that came with your scanner into the PC's drive. Click "Next" and wait for the drivers to install. Click "OK" when the process has finished.

    • 2). Run your image scanner by clicking the scanner client's icon on your desktop or in your "Start" menu. Place your DVD on the scanner with its label facing down.  On your image scanner software, click "Import image from scanner."  Once done, save the imported image in a folder of your choice.

    • 3). Open your DVD label maker program by clicking on its icon either on your desktop or the "Start" menu.  You will then see a DVD-shaped blank workspace.  Click "Open" and locate the scanned DVD label that you imported in Step 4.  Place this in the workspace provided and re-size it if needed.

    • 4). Edit the label depending on your preferences.  Click to select the image resolution, then click "Save."

    • 5). Place and feed a blank DVD label sticker into your printer; the position depends on your DVD label maker guidelines.  Once sure of the paper's positioning and alignment, click "Print."

    • 6). Peel the label sticker off its back sheet and carefully apply it to your DVD.  You will only have one chance to do this, so make sure the label is properly aligned to the DVD.
