- 1). Insert the Windows XP CD or Windows Server 2003 CD into the disc drive. Download, install and run PE Builder.
- 2). Click "Yes" when the "Search Files?" dialog box appears. If PE Builder is unable to locate the Windows installation files, click the "..." button next to "Source," go to the disc drive, and select the install folder.
- 3). Click the "Plugins" button. Look through the list of plugins to add to the BartPE build. Select a software plugin to add. If the plugin is disabled, click "PluginHelp" to see which files are required to enable the plugin.
- 4). Go to the "Plugins and Links" page on the BartPE website, and download the files required to enable the plugin in PE Builder.
- 5). Click "Start," then click "Computer" or "My Computer." Go to the "plugins" folder in the "PE Builder" directory, then go to the folder for the designated program.
- 6). Open the ZIP folder containing the plugin files. Drag-and-drop the files into the program folder. Relaunch BartE, click the "Plugins" button and select the desired plugin from the list.
- 7). Click "Enable/Disable" to add the plugin to BartPE.
